McCreath provides all the raw material sampling services for North American Stainless in Ghent, KY. McCreath’s office is on the property and has been there providing coverage 24/7 since 2003. Our staff is equipped to sample any raw material the mill may have received from ferroalloys to scrap. The staff pioneered the use of an auger to sample drums and super sacks of fine material less than ½ inch in size in order to get a good cross-section of the material.
Our Ghent office also covers from Cincinnati to Paducah, KY. The main services provide by this office are:

- Barge surveys
Our knowledgeable staff has experience with a broad spectrum of ferroalloys and can identify many just by appearance. Even with the workload of our primary customer, the staff is well-positioned to assist our customers in the region.
