Andrew S. McCreath & Son, Inc. is accredited, ISO 17025 by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation ( A2LA) as a commercial chemical laboratory. Our business is the sampling and analysis of ores, ferro alloys, minerals, coal and coke.  

The main laboratory is located in Harrisburg, PA, with a branch laboratory in Gary, IN.  Sampling/inspection personnel are located along the Gulf of Mexico, the East Coast, and Great Lakes of the United States.  We also sample/inspect  in Canada, Mexico, the Baltics, and where ever else our services are needed. Our samplers in the US have portable crushing and preparation equipment allowing us to sample materials at any location.  McCreath samples and analyzes more ferro alloys in the USA than any other commercial laboratory.
